So it comes as no surprise that the hotel, conveniently located in fashion heaven, now offers afternoon tea for a girl to give in to her craving for sweets and couture.
The appropriately named Pret-a'-portea is served from 1 to 6 pm and you can choose from cakes designed by Yves Saint-Laurent, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Paul Smith and the likes. The perfect setting to get homely with a would-be mother-in-law and you would be hard pressed to find a better place to spend a fun afternoon sipping champagne and indulging in an Anya Hindmarch sponge cake after a heavy duty shopping spree. A girl has to rest a little and spoil herself now and again. It can't be all work, work, work, you know!
